{ Sophie the Explorer part II: Snow in SLO }

monday morning the word was out. so we crammed into the truck, drove 45 minutes up pothole infested roads (heaven forbid I found myself hoping that Obama's new deal plan reached far enough to fix this obscure old road, it was that bad!), and found it. all two flakes of it. the drive was gorgeous though and I was grateful to Chris's dad that i could join the choruses of "snow, snow, snow, snow- i want to wash my hands, my face, my hair with snow..." we hardly even got our snow boots wet, but it was cleansing and refreshing non the less. and the views were to die for, ireland meets california! just in case anyone...(ahemm)... needs extra motivation to come visit me in San Luis Obispo, i thought I would post a few. and dont worry, if you visit, the chances of snow are one in a thousand, and even then it will melt by 11 and then we can go for a clear sky walk on the beach by sunset :)
{*just fyi i didnt change the color of the manzanita tree }
