{ Golden State }

Im not saying California is better than other states, necessarily, but when I had to leave Costa Rica early to come back for work, at least I am coming back to this...

{ John & Katie : I think another 80 years of this is a great idea }

These two are adorable. They flirt, they tease, they laugh, but mostly when they look at each other you can just tell.... its love. the truck was an amazing prop, and the best part about it is that it is hers (and it matched their shirts)! Im excited to use it again for their wedding pictures this november.

Pura Vida

With so many surfers, most family vacations I remember have involved chasing waves. The boys took a trip a down to costa rica 6 years when ago, they fell in love, my dad bought some property, and, well now you have these pictures. My family has never been very big on traditions, but we have gone down to costa rica every summer with family and friends for the last 3 years since our homes were finished and it is one tradition that I think is going to stand the test of time.I could go on about the amazing beaches, the late night quad rides on the beach, horseback riding in the jungle, and exploring, but Ill let the pictures do the talking for me. My family will be there for another month or so but Chloe and I had to head back to CA to shoot weddings. Suffice to say, the two weeks I got to spend there were not long enough and I can't wait to get back!

Plugs: If you are headed down to costa rica check out our rental homes. Also my lovely sister in law Chloe is responsible for all the pictures that I am in, check out her blog too!

We also joined up with a mission group and the girls got to spend two afternoons giving manicures and pedicures to the women and girls {along side a medical clinic} living in the shanty river beds where the homes are really just corroborated tin sheds holding each other up and the children run around bare foot and help raise each other. As always, I hope we were able to bless the people we were serving as much as we were blessed by getting to serve! I absolutely love this picture of my angel baby sister Claire intently washing this woman's feet... she is my best example of a servant's heart
